The Missional Discipleship Development Committee will incorporate concerns previously covered by the Ecumenical, Children’s & Youth Work Committees and the Evangelist & Mission Enabler’s Vision & Strategy Group.
The focus of the Committee is developing discipleship across the whole people of God, leading to a deeper engagement in mission.
The Functions of the Committee are: –
- Discipleship development
- Mission development
- Ecumenical relationships
- Oversight of Local Ministry and Mission Review (LMMR)
Missional Discipleship Development Remit: –
- Advocating full engagement with missional discipleship: living the life of Jesus today
- Deepening personal and corporate engagement with God
- Overseeing work with youth and children
- Implementing the discipleship development strategy & delivering the Stepwise programme
- Implementing the LMMR programme
- Promoting involvement with and good practice in mission & evangelism at home and abroad
- Fostering social responsibility in our churches (e.g. Commitment For Life, Eco Church, etc.)

- Silence & Retreats Coordinator
