Invitation to the October 2025 Synod Gathering, “Growing the Church”
The October 2025 Synod meeting is a residential event open to anyone in our URC West Midlands Synod churches who would like to join others for fellowship, information sharing and encouragement. The theme is “Growing the Church”, and we shall hear about how the “Casting a Vision” paper adopted at Synod in October 2024 has been taken forward. There will also be feedback on the Synod Grants Review alongside several workshop choices. Our keynote speaker will be Revd Dr Jonathan Oloyede, who is convenor of the National Day of Prayer UK and has been very involved in the Shine Your Light initiative.
The venue is 6-8 minutes’ walk from Birmingham International railway station and is the Hilton Birmingham metropole, The NEC Birmingham, Pendigo Way, Birmingham B40 1PP.
